Alexander McQueen Wedding Gown Fall 2011 Designed by Sarah Burton

Alexander McQueen has won the British Designer of the Year Award four times (1996, 1997, 2001, 2003), as well as the CFDA Designer of the Year (2003).  Known for his shocking designs, and radical ideas Alexander McQueen is one of the most interesting designers out there.   He began his career at the young age 16.  In 1996, McQueen was hired to head the design team at Givenchy which lead him to his own line in 2001.  Sadly, the designer died in 2010, although his brand still continues.

This lovely gown has some striking renaissance undertones.  The beige toned corset makes this gown have a rustic historical look.
