J- Crew is coming out with some really stunning wedding gowns, competing with some of the formost bridal designers in the industry. From what I have observed, J-Crew uses NICER material than some of the best designers in the business such as raw silks for their wedding gown line. It is very rare for a bridal manufacture to use raw silk, as it is one of the more expensive materials to use. Some European designers use raw silk, but from my experience it is almost never seen. Most companies use a silk-satan blend or satan. Anu Pam, is one company I can recall using Raw Silk, the same with St Pucchi, and Ian Stuart. I am sure many more designers use this material, just to say it is rare to see. If you have ever seen how beautiful raw silk looks, consider it for your gown as it is the most beautiful in my opinion.
